This is Edita’s family. Edita is the mother and is a (relatively young) widow. Anna is one of the daughters. Besides Anna, Edita has a few more children: Dima (22), Ksenia (17), and Sofia (10). Anna has 2 children herself: Evelina (9) and David (5).
The family comes from the Kherson region and was barely able to flee from the enemy. They had their own house and everything they needed, but they lost everything and are now largely depending on support from others. The children have experienced terrible things and they suffer from trauma and stress, which means they constantly have low resistance, which makes them often ‘inexplicably’ ill. This can be a flu, but also regular inflammations in various places. This makes them vulnerable.
Anna herself also suffers from complaints, which means she is sometimes unable to work. She is married and her husband returned from the frontline, injured.
We would love to help them and to provide for part of the financial costs we want to sponsor Sofia and Evelina for 200 euros per month. With this amount, they can have lunch at school every (work)day and they can follow English lessons twice a week.
